For this project I found it very difficult to create something that seemed to have meaning. I think that I executed my idea nicely, but of course it will mean something different to everyone else than it does to me. My main ideas was to start my sound off with normal everyday sounds and start creating overwhelming moments from the same sounds. I attempted to make it sound like the protagonist was in their head and getting anxious by making some sounds louder, and some sounds more repetitive. While reading other peoples comments on my sound, a few people were confused what the storyline was. I did not know that people were expecting a storyline. As I listened to other people’s sounds in class I got worried because I could tell that other students’ impression of the assignment was to make a plot of going through everyday activities, and I did not do that verbatim. I used everyday sounds, but there was no timeline to it. I think of movies and how within editing there is jump cuts and edits that make it so the scene does not have a specific scene to scene flow, and that was what I was thinking while I was making my sound. I went from pouring cereal to being in the car with no intention of putting a door shutting in between to create a specific timeline.

I think that I accurately portrayed what I was going for with my sound creation and I enjoyed making it because there was no specific guideline of how you had to edit your project. You could simply just do it however you wanted and have fun with it, which is exactly what I did.
