For my zine, I have a couple ideas in mind that I wouldn't know fully how to create, but once I start I think I will get a better idea.

For my first idea, I was thinking of doing a zine all about girlhood. This idea came from watching the new Barbie movie and wanting to express what it means to be a woman in a fully pink zine. For each page, I would want to show girlhood through each stage of life. First as a baby, then as a child, preteen, teen, and adult, then circle it all back to having a child of your own. I think this concept would come out really cool in a zine.

For my second idea, I would want to show my interest in music. I would want my zine to be about different songs and genres and how each song would make a person feel. Growing up, I liked pop songs of course because all I listened to was kids bop, but I also liked to listen to my parents' music in the car as they would drive me to school. They would listen to older music and more rock and roll. Along with that, I was a dancer so I was also listening to all sorts of jazzy and lyrical music. So as I was growing up, I was surrounded by all types of music, which is the reason why my music taste now doesn't just consist of one style. I would like to show how music makes me feel through my zine, which may be tricky because I can't use words, but I'd like to give it a try.
